The 1st Wednesday of the month, 6pm - 7:30 PM.
The 3rd Thursday of the month, 6pm - 7:30 PM.
If there is a holiday or school calendar conflict, the dates are subject to change (see calendar below).
Meeting Location
If you would like to host a meeting, please CLICK HERE. Hosting provides the opportunity to highlight your business.
If there is no host for a meeting:
Wednesday meetings will be held at the Senior Center of the Chathams, located at 58 Meyersville Road.
Thursday meetings will be at the Chatham Township Fire Department, located at 495 River Road.
Some meetings may also be held at the Chatham Borough Fire Department, located at 42 Fairmount Ave.
Meeting Attendance
We ask this year that if you attend a meeting to BRING A POTENTIAL MEMBER with you to help us grow our organization. You all have colleagues and many of you are part of other organizations. Bring along someone who could benefit from networking in Chatham and engaging with our community.
There will be door prizes for those who bring guests! And if your guest joins, there will be extra prizes!
We will continue to ask for RSVPs in advance, but you are always welcome to join the day of!
Meeting Content
NEW! Member Business Spotlight Meetings
These meetings give our members the opportunity to connect commerce & community.
YOU can sign up to lead a meeting! Give a presentation, discuss a topic related to your business/industry, conduct a brief workshop, or do whatever best demonstrates your business service, product, resources, etc.
Meeting Format: The first 20-25 minutes of the meeting are YOURS to present your business. The balance of the meeting will be for Q&A, conversation and open networking.
Audience: In addition to Chamber members we will invite residents in the community to attend these meetings (at a limited capacity). This will give YOU the opportunity to really showcase your business to our community.
We will video these presentations and publish them on our website and a YouTube channel we are creating.
Examples of potential meeting content/topics:
Health and wellness/nutrition tips for the year, at home and at work.
Spring cleaning tips & tricks - simple ways to freshen up your home/office space this season.
Getting ready to move? How to prepare your home for selling.
Money management - estate planning and wealth management for your family and your small business.
Need to take care of a loved one? Home health/elder care guidance.
Dealing with daily stresses? Mental health tips to keep you on track.
How to be more sustainable. From food to fashion, tips on how to live more sustainably.
Etc.
NEW/EXPANDING! Speaker Series
The Chamber will bring in speakers that can provide small business resources, support and guidance to you. We are expanding this initiative based on the positive feedback we received from the Social Media Marketing and Cash Flow Management/Grant meeting we had last year.
NEW! Chatham Chats with Borough Leaders
Our Borough Administrator, Council and Mayor have agreed to attend meetings more frequently to hold informative and constructive conversations with our members. Before each of these meetings, you will be able to submit topics/questions/feedback that you'd like to have discussed at the meeting so our leaders can prepare accordingly.
Last year our Council liaisons attend the majority of our meetings, however, we as a Chamber did not provide the opportunity to hold ongoing conversations with them to stay connected. This year, together with the Borough, we will provide a platform for two-way productive conversations to be held throughout the year.
Networking: All meetings are an opportunity to network with one another, however, we will hold two main networking events, one in the spring and one in the fall.
