Chatham Emergency Squad

Established 1936

31 N Passaic Ave, Chatham, NJ 07928, USA

For 88 years, Chatham residents, business owners and visitors have called upon the all-volunteer Chatham Emergency Squad to help them in times of medical need. Because we never charge for our services, CES is dependent upon the generosity of the community to maintain our ability to serve with the professionalism our community has come to expect.

Every day for more than 8 decades, the Chatham Emergency Squad has excelled at getting the sick and injured assessed, treated and transported to the hospital. The all-volunteer EMTs of CES are trained to deal with extreme situations as well as the kind of emergencies that more often strike our patients - falls, sickness, car accidents, etc. and provide the best care possible regardless of the situation.

The all-volunteer Chatham Emergency Squad provides rapid and professional care to Chatham residents, visitors and business owners. Our service extends beyond 911 calls to provide coverage to community events, support for our fire departments and non-emergency transports for our residents in need.

About Chatham Emergency Squad...

The Chatham Emergency Squad is an all-volunteer provider of basic life support services to Chatham residents, visitors and business owners and customers. Trained, professional EMTs are on duty 24 hours/day, 365 days/year; we never charge for our service. In addition to providing emergency medical care, CES also provides support to community events like Fishawack and the turkey trots and well as the state-mandated support at Chatham High School varsity home football games. CES also provides a robust community CPR program, training Chatham firefighters, police, teachers, coaches and residents at no charge. CES's success is due to our volunteer members who range in age from 16 to early 70s; we are always interested in speaking with new potential members who want to make a difference in their community.
